LEED

LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, from the U.S. Green Building Council, is one of the popular certifications. Various countries can apply for it, and now nearly 190 countries are using it with a total of more than 105,000 buildings.

Green Mark

The Green Mark is certificate by the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore. Green Mark focuses on energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, environmental protection, and innovation. There are several levels, such as platinum, gold plus, gold, silver, and provisional certification.

DGNB

The next certification of green building is DGNB, issued by the German Sustainable Building Council in Germany. DGNB for new buildings and existing buildings. Like other certificates, this type also has several levels, namely platinum, gold, silver, and bronze.

BREEAM

Next is BREEAM, or the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method, issued by the U.K.-based Building Research Establishment. This certificate has been used in more than 600,000 buildings across over 80 countries.

WELL

WELL is a certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) for buildings, interior spaces, or communities that support well-being and health. There are several levels in this certificate, namely platinum, gold, silver, and bronze.
