Willie Mays was born on May 6, 1931 in Westfield, Alabama, USA. Willie Mays is a former American baseball center fielder, who mostly played with New York and San Francisco Giants and ended his career with the New York Mets. In the year 1979, Willie Mays was chosen to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Most of the surveys and research suggests that Willie Mays is the greatest all round player of all time.
He made his MLB debut on May 25, 1951 for the New York Giants and played his last game in the year 1973 for the New York Mets. Willie Mays won Most Valuable Player award two times and level on records with 24 appearances in All-Star Game.
