Hideki Matsui was born on June, 1974 in Negari, Ishikawa, Japan, and is a Japanese professional baseball player. He is popular for his powerful hitting, who bats with left hand and throws with right hand. He plays for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim as an outfielder and made his MLB debut in the month of March 31, 2003 for the New York Yankees.
He played his first ten seasons for the Yomiuri Giants in Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball.
He made his Nippon Professional Baseball Debut on December 4, 1993 for the Yomiuri Giants. From the year 2003 to 2009, he played for the New York Yankees in North America’s Major League Baseball. In the season of year 2009 he played for Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He has been successful in both leagues, where he won the Central League’s Most Valuable Player Award 3 times in Japan and the World Series Most Valuable Player Award in the United States of America.
