Going with a 3-1 lead against the Texas Rangers in the World Series, San Francisco Giants made sure that the title was sealed in Game 5 itself. The Giants had emerged victorious in the first two games held in San Francisco followed by a win and a loss at Arlington prior to the 5th game. With a score-line of 3-1 in the 5th game of the series, the Giants crushed the opposition of Rangers at their home ground in Arlington, Texas and recorded a historic win.

At this moment, everything seems to be working in the favor of Giants. Their hitting as well as the fielding was good, but their pitching has been nothing less than brilliant. Sunday night saw Giants beat Rangers 4-0 in Game 4 to go 3-1 up in the series. Just one more win similar to this and they will be crowned champions.
