To make room for Darrell Rasner, the Yankees optioned Ian Kennedy to Scranton this morning. Not much of a surprise here. Kennedy was 0-2 with a 8.37 ERA in the five games he started. He averaged just over four innings per start. No telling how long he may be down at AAA, but the Yankees need to make sure he has himself figured out before he shows his face in the Bronx again. Kennedy needs to change his approach and get back to things that made him successful late last season.
