Before tonight’s game versus the Orioles, the Yankees yanked reliever Edwar Ramirez out of triple-A and sent Jonathan Albaladejo packing for Scranton. The move made some sense because the team needed a fresh arm in the pen. Ramirez was called on in the sixth and pitched 2 1/3 innings, giving up one hit and striking out three. A great first outing. He’ll probably be sent back down when Joba Chamberlain is activated from the bereavement list.
