Sanjay asked: Can you name the minor league position player who you believe will make an impact with the Yankees this year? Anybody in particular who has caught your eye?

Brian Cashman: “Brett Gardner.”

I watched a lot of spring games and I’m convinced Gardner can help this team with his speed on the bases and solid defensive play. This won’t be a September call-up either. I think Girardi wants Gardner very badly and my guess is he’ll be the first positional player called upon when the Yankees need a reserve.
