David Price, the number one overall pick out of Vanderbilt in last summers amateur draft by the Tampa Bay Rays, is slated to pitch in Saturday’s game against the Yankees at Legends Field.
From the St. Petersburg Times:
*LHP David Price will throw to hitters today at the club’s minor league complex. Everything is going according to plan, with him scheduled to get his first game action Saturday against the Yankees at Legends Field.
The game will be televised on the YES Network and on MLBTV.com. I’m not sure who will be pitching for the Yankees that afternoon, but it should be an intriguing matchup nonetheless.
