Bizarre set of circumstances today. Neither Andy Pettitte, Kurt Radomski or Chuck Knoblauch will testify before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on Wednesday morning.

Here’s the official statement from Chairman Henry Waxman:

“Kirk Radomski, Andy Pettitte, and Chuck Knoblauch will not be testifying at the February 13 hearing. Charlie Scheeler of Senator Mitchell’s staff will be testifying. Mr. Knoblauch and Mr. Pettitte answered all the Committee’s questions and their testimony at the hearing is not needed. Mr. Clemens and Mr. McNamee have also cooperated with the Committee in its investigation.”

Wednesday’s hearings are going to be electric. I would expect a lot of back and forth between Clemens and McNamee.
