Saw this over at River Ave. Blues and meant to post it, but Roger Clemens got in the way.

A report in the NYT reveals that money promised to the Bronx community by the Yankees, when the new stadium was agreed to, has not been distibuted. And the panel hasn’t even met to discuss who will receive the money or when.

What a shame. Do the right thing here and start giving back to the community. The Yankees say it’s not their problem and have referred all calls to the office of Bronx borough president, Adolfo Carrión Jr. What they should do is pressure the borough president to convene the panel and get the funds distributed as soon as possible.
